Connecting Plasma Science and Quantum Science

Join us September 30–October 2, 2026, for the Alabama International Plasma Physics Conference (AIAPC) at the Auburn Alumni Center at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

Hosted by FTPP in partnership with the Strategic Plasma Innovation Network (SPI-NET), this small conference will bring together researchers and students to explore the exciting intersection of plasma physics and quantum processes.

The conference will highlight emerging opportunities across areas including:

• Quantum processes in astrophysical plasmas
• High-field laser science
• Diagnostic development using quantum processes
• High-energy-density physics
• Ultra-cold plasmas

With a focus on connecting researchers across disciplines, AIAPC will provide an opportunity to share ideas, discuss emerging research, and explore new directions at the intersection of plasma and quantum science.
